An Active Ink form looks like a paper document, but incorporates all of the advantages of a digital document such that you can store your e-forms permanently on your local hard drive or server. You can print them out if you need a copy and email them to your office if they require a permanent record. When designing an Active Ink form, you can build them from scratch, import them from a scanned image or convert them from an exisiting PC document. You can add text fields, check boxes and drop down lists to your form and add a signature box if your PC (tablet PC) supports pen input and handwriting recognition.
